Made in Amalfi, a few tubs at a time
La Piccola Gelateria makes traditional Italian gelato in small batches, using fresh ingredients and the flavours of the coast. We churn all through the day, so what is on the counter was made hours ago, not days.
Small batches. Big Italian summers.

Why we use Amalfi lemons
Our signature sorbet starts with Amalfi lemons: long, fragrant and picked by hand on the terraces above the sea. We use the zest as well as the juice, so it smells like the grove before it tastes of anything.
- Sfusato Amalfitano, thick-skinned and aromatic
- Grown on cliffside terraces under chestnut pergolas
- Lemon, sugar and water. Nothing else.
A family counter on Via dei Limoni
It began with a seafront cart and a notebook of family recipes. Today it is one small counter, a few steady hands and the same rule as ever: make it fresh, make it simple, make it slowly.
Taste it warm. Taste it twice. Never hurry the churn.

La dolce vita, one scoop at a time.
